Founded in 2009, the HOPE FM is a nonprofit organization. While our weekly vendor fees cover market operations, we’re passionate about spreading the word about healthy local food, and community outreach is a top priority. Any donations, regardless of size, help us achieve this goad, as well as continue to offer a uniquely weekly East Austin experience.

This spring, the HOPE Farmers Market is raising money to support our move to Plaza Saltillo and new outreach efforts, including a Mobile Farm Stand and a SNAP/WIC Acceptance Program.

Things we need funds for this season:

• Site improvements at Plaza Saltillo, including a native plant garden and storage for tools and market supplies.
• Mobile Farm Stand design and construction, as well as seed money to get the project off the ground.
• SNAP/WIC Acceptance Program: in order for us to offer this community service, our staff works extra hard during the week collaborating with various organizations and spending time out and about raising awareness about healthy food access in East Austin.
